What the hell is Parallax? I was wondering the same thing when I started on iron sight telescope with a good upgrade. This guide will give you an overview of best focus for the Bushnell area, or any other adjustable parallax setting for that matter.
Have you ever heard of a field of higher power and I noticed that when you move out of the eye seems to move from the center toward the edge of the exit pupil, the reticle on the target? Well, this change isif the parallax adjustment is not properly adjusted for distance. Some have mistaken the parallax adjustment as a priority or even a rangefinder, but it is neither. The parallax adjustment, if set correctly to ensure that the reticle is positioned properly on the target, as if your crosshairs are part of the door, motionless, as if they were painted on, for you. Of course, if your goal is not a "target" or a "varmint hunting" rifle scope, you probably do not need tothe bother of adjusting the parallax adjustment. Negligible in most hunting areas is the parallax, in fact I have a good friend who regularly hunt, and he did not even know what I'm talking about when I asked him, have spoken. I do not hunt, but I like to spend a Saturday shooting. For me, every small increase in precision is welcome defiantly.
Most of the higher power ranges, with a capacity of 12 or more, will have an adjustment ring at the bell end of the destination (the end closest to thethe target). Normally, the parallax adjustment ring has printed the suggested settings on them, so you can just shoot in the area you have to choose from. The problem is that these proposed changes are rarely as accurate as could be. So why should you worry about getting your "right" to go? Why not use the recommended setting? Even if you're a big shot, you can easily reduce the size of your group of more than 30%, only taking the time to properly set parallaxField adjustment. Many shooters do not realize that even with a few adjustments you could make a big impact on their shooting performance. Let's face it, not in the documentation for the area has been a real blessing when it comes to learning how to use it, simply assume you already know.
Now that you have an understanding of what parallax, it is time to fine-tune your room for greater accuracy. I'm going to assume you have already set in your field to zero, and thatIt is necessary to properly sighted equip your weapon so it is positioned securely on a bench. A rest period of recovery would be better off with a vise. Dial the recommended setting on the parallax adjustment for the area from which the shooting. Now look through the scope and move your eyes back and forth, left and right so that you can see if the viewfinder as they appear to move over the top. Experiment with the adjustment until you have eliminated the illusion that your viewfindermovement. If you think you have perfect, a little 'white-out liquid paper and a marker on the parallax adjustment, so you know where you fit later. Some people paint their own brand or find it in the metal, but start with something that I'm not as durable, and are quite sure about the position preference. So go ahead and take five 57 shots and see how your group has improved. Nice, huh! Do not stop, move the target at 50 yards back and repeatthe process. Similarly, the ideal scenario would be for all areas that usually turn out to be in increments of 50 meters.
If you are in an economic market that will really go far I can recommend are two models of Bushnell Banner Scopes line of telescopes. The first is telescopes Bushnell Banner 6-18x50. It is a long-range target area that may also ideal for varmint hunting, and is set to be parallax focus from 10 metersInfinity. The second is telescopes Bushnell Banner 6-24x40. This long-range goal and the frame has a varmint reticle Mil-Dot, which is my preferred way of the viewfinder. Both can be purchased for around $ 120.00, so you do not empty your wallet. Happy hunting,
